VOX Bass reissues-thoughts?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

VOX Bass reissues-thoughts?

There's a used reissue VOX Bass guitar on consignment at my local music store. I think it's a III, with the teardrop shape and two pickups. It felt and played well, but are there any problems with these instruments (apart from not being an offset, of course!)?
