As some of you may already know, I've had major GAS for one of those 60s Supros lately. So, I thought I'd see if any of you had ever seen these... (Click photos to make 'em larger.)
They're made in Korea and have an "acousti-glass" top just like on the old Supros! :D I don't plan on getting one myself, rather I'm building my own Supro copy someday.
Anyway, aren't these cool!?!?!?

My old roomate had one of the basses, he didn't care for it mutch but I think it was mostly him.

They're kinda coming from the same thought process as Eastwood and DiPinto .. take the cool-looking old guitar designs, or elements of them, and reissue them in a hopefully more playable form.
They do a Jazzmaster-like one as well, which looks very much like some of the old Ekos to me:
