Well, not bad for an almost free guitar! I traded an old iPod and a few bucks (two digits) for the 50th Anniversary MIM Stratocaster with the gold anodized pickguard I was going to put on my old 1983 62RI! Guess I'll definitely have to put a gold guard on my Jazzmaster now!

Nicely done!
One of the other guys in my house has a MIM strat, and i like it a lot - it's been played in really nicely.

I was nicely surprised at the really nice neck and, frankly, shocked, at the quality of the pickups. (I guess I should be so surprised at my MIM Esquire is a delight.) This is a guitar I'm quite pleased to play, especially live.
AND IT LOOKS PIMPIN' IN DE STAINES GHETTO YO!!!

It's funny- my guitars are either really trad 'bursts and natural finishes or out there bling machines! Pink Paisley Tele, meet Goldfinger Strat!

I would swap that neck onto a JAZZMASTA and enter aesthetic heaven.
I prefer their older stuff.
