I think I might just have to buy one of those thinlines and mod the heck out of it. Did somebody say Bigsby and Jazzmaster pickups? I hope not, because I want to be original.

The necks on these ones are like the japanese fender necks, they aren't that unfinished feel/look of the other ones.

I played a Squire Jagmaster today. Sunburst with shell guard and creme pickups.
Very nice, and only 245 at Guitar Center.
Plays very well, looks great and well, I may have to get one.

That's funny, I played one too.  I was disappointed with the hardware, but it sounded and looked good.  The finish on the neck was weird, too...Still a cool offset, and I will own one!
Damn kids, get off my lawn!

Rumorsofsurf - Yea the hardware is eh, but for 250 bucks what the hell. The pickups were nice and strong and the neck good straight grain. I thought the sunburst was prettty, I dont know about the shell guard because it had that plastic stuff on it.

I played one of the Thinlines today, and it was really nice for the money. Nice neck, same quality as the Standard series squiers, and everything felt pretty solid and resonant. I didn't get the chance to plug it in but I'll maybe go back when I have enough money. I'd have the 6-saddle bridge off in a minute to replace it with a 3-saddle one, but that's just my opinion. A 6-saddle bridge on a Tele just doesn't seem right to me.

Either way, I'm saving up to buy one :)

Do you mean this one? I like it except for the X's on it, and the sum 41 connection. I wish they would show the pictures like this, but include the graphics as stickers. That way you could be a poser and throw them on if you want, or just leave it plain.
You could be real punk rock and put a black tape x over the "corporate" red x. Problem solved, punk hipness intact!

that's true, mjet!

I was in the shop again the other day and they have the deryk whibley one - it looks good apart from saying "deryk" on the headstock, which is a little bit wick IMHO.

They also had the FMG thinline, and it looked glorious (apart from the fact that some kid had obviously dropped it on the floor in the shop....)
