HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP ME IDENTIFY THIS HUMBUCKER!!!
ok, so i was doing repairs in the shop and i was looking for stuff in that pig sty and i came across this. its cream/white colored, and it has fender engraved on the back. it looks to be a four conductor lead. ive never seen a pickup that looks like this before and i was wondering if someone could tell me what it is! if its cool i might drop it in to a future project. its no wide range, but since it says fender on it im assuming it could be a higher end pickup. pearly gates maybe???
thanks guys.

I believe that the humbuckers that are used in fairly recent MIA (e.g. Highway 1) & MIM Teles & Strats have the same layout. It doesn't necessarily imply that it's "high end" although I think that all of them are at least Alnico (not ceramic) so that's something. I know that the Atomic Humbucker has the same layout as well:

Yup, there is a good chance its an atomic humbucker, I used 1 of those on a project recently and it looks identical!

They also had a pu called the Enforcer and a DH-1 (although the DH-1 might also have a name when used with different models - it might even be the Fender-branded version of the Duncan Pearly Gates). And then there's a Tex-Mex humbucker as well.
Do you have readings from the pickup? That willl help you narrow it down.
** Correction of my earlier post - the Enforcer is a ceramic pickup.
Enforcer: D.C. Resistance 24.0k !! Hex-screw adjustable magnets
Pearly Gates (Alnico 2 Bar): D.C. Resistance 8.35k
Atomic Neck (Alnico 2): D.C. Resistance 7.9k
Atomic Bridge (Alnico 5): D.C. Resistance 16.4k
Tex-Mex (Alnico 5) D.C. Resistance 8.2k

I think the American HSS Strat has something called a Fender Diamondback humbucker in there too.

I don't think I have ever seen the JagStang's pickup named - just "vintage style humbucker" etc.
