People who live in Queensland (QLD) are regarded by everybody else in the southern states of Australia as being a little crazy, because of the sun up there... plus they grow a lot of bananas ... so over the last 50,60 years people from QLD have become known as "banana benders"
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...
