There's a lefty on ebay. Anyone own one? I don't think they make 'em in lefty any more.

My son used to own a righty V. It would be hard to tell if one was righty or lefty since they are symmetric. You could probalby easily convert by just reversing the nut and the saddles!

Does the lefty have the controls on the opposite side?

Yes - the lefties are done as a mirror image of the standard model.

With the controls on top rather than the bottom.  I was forced to play flipped-over righty guitars when I was 14, but not really into it over 20 years later. Hendrix made it look good, but I prefer a true lefty guitar.
