Hey all. Picked up one of the RI Vikings recenty.

I've always liked white pickguards on semi hollows. Especially red or sunburst ones. So I designed this white one for my Hagstrom to replace the stock black one (the white is just a paper cutout for the picture) with a couple of modifications that I find more aesthetically pleasing.

I'd be making it out of 3 ply white.

Which do you like the looks of better?

Is the white gonna be the same shape as the black? I dig the shape of the black but I think a white/black/white would look cool too. I geuss this doesnt help so Ill just say black...

Feck, I guess I'm in the minority liking the white.

For some reason the shape of the black bugs me, how the upper right corner rises up to a point. I like the gibson-ish rolloff look.

I like the Hagstrom one. Looks classy.

The white against that red looks sort of cheap-ish. Like a knock-off or something... No offence.  :(

I like the black, as well as it's shape. I don't liek the white, cuz it's *too* white. If you're going to go for the lighter colour, go for parchment or mint! that'd be funky!

The shape of the white one is not quite perfect and still better than the other one, but color-wise it's all about black.
