Looks good - what colour did you choose (I'm too lazy to search for the poll...).
Is it a new body - it looks so...untouched

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Yes it is. All parts are new or aged new.
Both the body and neck are Musikkraft made in the US. I fell for the '65 routing they have on their bodies.
The neck feels chunky and great with a 9,5 radius. I wanted it more vintage (7,5) but got this for a steal :-\
It's my first relic attempt so it's not going to be "perfect". I've aged all the parts exept the PG, tuners and the input cup.
As for the finish, I have bought both sonic blue and ice blue metallic and the day when I have to choose is closing in...
I hope to receive the last can of paint early next week so I can finish it....

Cool! looks awesome!
Here's mine. The body is a Fender Highway 1 redone in LPB Nitro without clearcoat. The neck is Musikraft. The hardware is from Callaham (the best!), pickups are Fralins w/ cryo done by Callaham.

It was your's that triggered me do go ahead with mine. It's so cool looking!
The hardest part was the neck I think, and I'm not done with it yet....
Less is more, right?
How do you like your neck??

Re: 1966 RI Stratocaster build up with parts.
oh, thanks!
the neck is fine. It's a quartersawn 1 pc. I got the heavy rolled off edges, a 10" radius, med jumbo frets, and the med. C profile. I wish I got the thin C profile though... The medium is thicker than I thought it would be.
I was going for a Hendrix meets the Eric Johnson signature model angle. I had them do the nitro finish and they put it on thin but there are runs in it.
It's the best strat i've ever owned but i don't think i'll ever be a strat guy, you know?

First coats applied!!!!
Click the link in the first post.
Sorry guys, but I went with the IBM, got hold of the same color Doug used on his 65 project so you're familiar with the shade....
The pics do not do the color justice. I'll take some outdoor pics when it's done...
