i just scored a vintage hagström HIIN!

unfortunately it's not for me, it's for my bandmate, but i will get to play it basically as much as i want

you don't see many HIINs with the fender type headstock (i think it was only the first year of production), and with the US dollar being worth nothing these days this was a
really good deal by swedish standards.

Awesome! I was watching that (with no intention of buying) and was a bit surprised it went that high but it makes sense if it's going overseas... damn crapass dollar. The strat head ones are a little cooler looking too IMO.

ah, that one has been on ebay forever, i briefly considered buying it when the HIIN fever first struck me but I think they had their reserve set above 900 I think. congrats!

yeah i think so too. i used to be all about the 3+3 HIIN headstocks, but since schecter stole that shape it has kinda given me a bitter taste...
as for the price, michael has wanted a black HIIN for a really long time so he would have gone quite a bit higher had it been necessary

A bandmate of mine had a Fender headstock sunburst one back in the days. He loved it.
