I had one for years and was really pleased with it. I only sold it recently to save for a J-45.

I think I remember L&M had a big sale this summer and one of the locations had one on for $150 as the neck angle was a little extreme (or really actually ). They had remedied it with a rather high bridge and it seemed to play fine but I was surprised that Epiphone / Gibson would sell something like that. The bridge they had in it was, not a word of a lie, close to two inches high  :o

had one for a decade....fantastic guitar...great sound...the only thing I got tired of was the size....I had times that after a couple of hours of playing I'd grow uncomfortable of it (and I'm 6'3" tall)

Its the same size as the Gibson version though isnt it?.. The size didnt bug me too much.. (I never sit and play for longer than 30 minutes at a time anyways.. )

L&M dropped their prices to match the dollar.. and now have better prices than sweetwater on lots of their shit

I ordered the J masics jazz in the summer.. it was $1100.. its now $860.. luckily it hasnt arrived yet, and their policy is you pay what its going for once it arrives

Yeah they have adjusted for the dollar recently but the price on these came down a few years ago. I wonder what was the catalyst?

hmm don't know..
Maybe epiphone found a cheaper method of production
and were able to bring down their retail price to sell more
guitars.
