I think the big chrome control plate on Telecasters is one of their best features.  This one could benefit from having one og those, but otherwise I like it o.k.  Not great, but not horrible.  To each his own.

I think that's the Aerodyne model. With pickguard and controlplate, it would be a nice guitar.
