Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
Yeah, unless the ones that come with the Marr differ from the retail ones. If you take the tremolo unit off and look at the underside you should see two nuts you can adjust. The lower one is the one you want to tighten.egosheep wrote:Just received my new JMJ this morning in KO. Everything is great, except for one issue: the staytrem is not keeping the trek in place like it should. If I take the trem off, is there a way I can tighten or adjust the bushing?

Check out Johnny's bridge here:

It's not a StayTrem because the screws are centered in the saddles. Looks like he had blank saddles and notched them offcenter to tighten the string spacing.

The screws in the Marrguar are centred - and it uses springs rather than a nylon washer to keep thr saddles in position. Otherwise it has the same bushings on the height screws ... though the posts are thicker than on a staytrem - more like a Mastery.

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
My staytrem and Marr bridge had identical bottom posts. But my point here is his saddles in this photo are modified, they aren't the stock saddles as those are notched in the center, while these aren't.Despot wrote:The screws in the Marrguar are centred - and it uses springs rather than a nylon washer to keep thr saddles in position. Looks like OTM?
Faded OTM with a tortoise pickguard is one of my fav combos.

That one's actually sherwood green, the ultimate colour for bound neck Fenders.smalahove wrote:Looks like OTM?

Ok, thanks. Sometimes ait difficult to judge a metallic due to lighting ;-)spindizzy wrote:That one's actually sherwood green, the ultimate colour for bound neck Fenders.
Maybe Fender will offer some new colours to the jagumarr, like they did with the Eric Johnson sig strat? I'd love a sherwood green one to complement my mko :-))

Re: Johnny Marr Sig Jaguar
Has anyone noticed two different case linings with this guitar?
I've seen on with the more "Poodle" inside, and others with the standard "Felt" type blue lining. Any rhyme or reason here?
