I really prefer it like this guys...  not that there's anything wrong with the gold guards, just not on this particular guitar.

Nice - I used to not be, but I'm definitely now on the bandwagon with black on black with maple necks.  Something about it is kind of punk rock in some way...I desperately want to score a black on black Squier strat with the 70 headstock...
