Beware: Warmoth is only compatible with Warmoth (neck, guard etc..) so if you choose Warmoth don't order other parts from someone else

Hi! I think you misanderstood me, my question was which way to go,
body and neck from warmoth or musikraft. And MCJT told me that with
the allparts guard that I bought and the warmoth body the only changes
that I'll have to do are with the pickup space.

hey pulse,
i said:
hey, i think the warmoth might be ok- it might need some adjustments aroudn the pickups, as do many after market bodies.
i am often combining aftermarket parts from different manufacturers... there's frequently some work to do----

nothing is written in stone when it comes to combining aftermarket parts from different manufacturers, such as Allparts parts on a Warmoth body. Or Musikraft. I told you how the JM body was that i got from Musikraft: it had issues too.
i think the lesser of the evils would be a warmoth body and neck. I think they're a little more precise, though not necessarily vintage.
You probably won't go too far off with either of these manufacturers. just pick one, and accept that there might be some adjustment to do once you put the guard on it.....

I thank you all for your advices, you all have more experiences
on building a project and now it's time for me to have my own.
And sorry if I was too annoying but I'm a little anxious about it.
mcjt you've been very helpfull thanks

It's totally normal to be anxious ! (check out my + 30 pages of thread about my project if you want anxioussness & hesitations !  :D )

I second what mcjt said (and it's what I wanted to tell in my previous post): choose one manufacturer and go with it... and of course you can mix everything you like£..but it will need more work to make the parts fit.

May ask a little quick question?
Does a jazzmaster bridge go flat? As a tunomatic

I'm not sure what you mean, but It's got a radius:

and the posts are pointy and rests only on the tips so it can rock forth and back while you abuse that trem arm....and keep the tuning.

Answer enough?

I mean if my fretboard has a 10" or 12" radius
will I have problems with my intonation?

I put a mustang bridge on my '61 Jazzmaster because in the band I play in, I play two songs were I downtune to AADAAE and BADAAE...and the rest of our set is in DADAAE for my guitar....so the mustang saddles help keeping the strings on the bridge.

but,

whenever I have time off the band, I switch to the vintage Jazzmaster bridge...I like the sound better like that....the guitar feels a bit janglier and more slinky

No - as you can set the height individually on each saddle and achieve a 10" or 12" radius.

The Mustang bridge don't have height adjustment on the saddles and has a fixed radius. There's a warmoth version of the mustang bridge that's got height adjustment on some of the saddles though IIRC.
