My Bassman spoke russian a while about 15 years ago - this when I had an OD pedal on and muted the guitar. I think it went away when it was connected to a grounded wall jack... too long ago....
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

sounds like a grounding problem wherever you are playing..

man, i've been working like a dog, barely have time to do some unplugged noodling when I get home so I hadn't even turned the amp on in a week or so. on the bright side, all this work will of course translate into some sweet new gear...


anyway i plugged in today, no radio coming through. I must admit that I have no understanding of electricity and grounding... my friend who lives about a mile away however was getting disney radio through his stereo really badly; he went out and got all new shielded cables, to no avail... I think he eventually figured out it was because he had his computer plugged into his stereo or something but that wouldn't be an issue here.

for the moment though everything seems fine.

wow that has happened to me several times my amp suddenly starts speaking , once i interfered a private security or police frequency it was kind of cool , but most of the time it's really annoying
