1 of my guitars & cheap amps might be sold tonight to fund a new guitar: a Millimetric.
these things are made in Montréal by a really young dude w/ good taste in music.
i love the components and design of these puppies, but i'm having a hard time choosing a potential body shape- he has an offset & a non-offset at the moment (along with 30" baritone & bass versions). super thin bodies, awesome attention-to-detail, and one of the most killer Nanuk hardshell cases i've seen.
a new one will set you back nearly $1300USD ($1700CDN).
borrows heavily from Travis Bean & Obstructures - uses wood/no metal.
here's the MGS3 - the one i'm gravitating toward most - perhaps w/ a walnut neck (instead of maple) & in shell pink ?

i know the builder states he plays in a rather abusive manner and wants his guitars to function like an efficient tool before paying attention to little bells/whistles. the only chief concern i have right now is whether or not these things would be less stable or more fragile b/c of how absolutely thin the bodies are.
i know these are love/hate guitars, i'm just putting this out there for discussion. trying to think things through now that i've been pretty certain on ordering one for 2wks now.
