Re: Itsy bitsy combo amps..
Another vote for the orange crush. i think mines 30 watts, but I wish they made a 50w head version. Do like the cleans.
Agreed on the gain channel by the way. It's not complete crap... just.. unusable. And farty. Do not want.

I tried the nano when they first came out and they just sounded 'fizzie' to me (is that a word?). Reallt annoying buzz square like distortion that remonded me of the those transistor HH combo's of the 70's.

Re: Itsy bitsy combo amps..
I have a Cambridge 15.. kinda close. Great little amp for the money IMO. I swapped out the 12ax7 for a high gain TungSol. I get a passable dirty sound out of it with a RAT in 'boost mode' pounding the front end. I get a better dirty sound by cleaning up the amp and dirtying up the RAT. The clean sound is ok. That said, I think the money would be better spent on a Champ.northern_dirt wrote: Anyone tried either the

Ill prolly try to find a champ eventually.. but these other amps are so cheap, I don't mind dropping $100-$150 a month on a new little guy..luau wrote:I have a Cambridge 15.. kinda close.
