That's really the question, not sure that I'm going to keep both. Haven't had enough time to play with the goldfoils, but they have a TON of bass for a single coil.

I would never even touch the guitar on the left as long as the one on the right is available.

Man, I wish it were that easy. The gold one might not look as cool, but it's such an incredible guitar, it plays perfectly and the lollar firebirds are amazing. One's gotta go and I'm gonna be sorry as hell to lose either.

Re: Bilt guitars??
In a real pickle now witch regard to whether I should try and come up with around $500 more and go for a Relevator LS or if I should just wait for a decent sale at MF, use what I have and combine it with the $140 in credit I have there and get one of those Teal or Sherwood or whatever American Original Jazzmasters.
I want the Bilt bad but I could do a lot with the $500/$600 it’d take to add to what I have already.

The redwood bilts on Reverb are on sale for 15% off.
I wish I had the money to just get one of those.

I saw our dude with the new Bilts from the last page is trying to unload at least one of them for a really good price. I wish they were standard LS spec and in LPB or Sherwood cuz dude, i’d be getting a Bilt.

Ha. I couldn't decide which to let go, so I'm letting fate decide (secretly I want to keep the BMM goldfoil).

Re: Bilt guitars??
Someone should grab that shoreline Rele, especially at that price. Lollar birds are so good. I have one sandwiched between JM pickups in my LS, and I find myself using that pickup 4/5 of the time.

Oh my god 1600 for the BMM?! Someone needs to buy that thing I'm having trouble holding back and I'm a lefty!
... however, luckily for me the Zaftig I ordered was due in early march so it should be any day now...

Re: Bilt guitars??
Hey, I'm just listing them for what I paid. Only selling one because some guy sent me an offer on that walnut zaftig that was up for a while. He rejected it a few weeks ago, but changed his mind I guess. In the meantime I bought the BMM, but I can't really justify having 3 bilts
. Gonna have to decline maggie's offer, 'cause I've got regals too now!

I purged a ton of gear in the last few months, I was just getting sick of 1-2k+ guitars having serious flaws every time I bought one (cough gibson cough rickenbacker). I had never even given boutique builders a serious thought, so it's been a bit of a revelation.
So now I will buy all of them.

This thread is making me seriously consider selling all of my guitars, buying a Bilt, and just calling it a day.

Would you say then that it’s been a Relevation?DesmondWafers wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 6:02 pmI purged a ton of gear in the last few months, I was just getting sick of 1-2k+ guitars having serious flaws every time I bought one (cough gibson cough rickenbacker).
