I sold this '64 Duo Sonic at V&R, Bath, UK about three years ago on commission. Would love to get her back one day.

The neck was in almost unplayed condition although the decal was, unusually, missing all of its Duo-Sonic name without any obvious wear to the headstock. Great quacky tone.

Would love to get one of these someday. Wish the new Mustangs that are hard tail had been given the Duo Sonic II designation, as that's what they are really..

And the bridge. The Duosonic bridge fits the shape so much better than those square strat bridges.

Yea, for sure. The hardtail strat bridge looks out of place on them as well. Only thing stopping my from grabbing one. There are at least 4 of them locally, but I know I'd be searching high and low for a proper Duo/Toronado style bridge to put on it. Which would mean cutting the guard as well.
They are great models though. I've played them a good bit since they came out, just can't get past the odd bridge choice and the fact they say Mustang on them.
They finally bring back a long lost model and ditch it's actual name in the process. . .

what a beautiful guitar. Those Duo Sonics must be so fun to play...
