Hello everyone, would a 1984/5 guitar would be considered vintage?
Asking here just so as to know where to make a future NGD post ;)

Guitars from the 80s were Reissues, so I would say no...the vintage section is for the original run of guitars that ran into the late 70s.

Usually anything before 1980 was considered vintage :)

I am vintage, then.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I think the terms are Vintage, Old and Ancient. Don't mind old, just not ancient... :-/

Well, I'd say it depends on whether we're talking Fenders or not.

I've got post-1980 G&Ls that are Leo's guitars, and wholly original.

But yeah, for Fender offsets, the 80's and beyond are all reissues.
