Some years ago this guitar was listed for sale on (the now defunct?) Buffalo Brothers music store in California website. I don't remember what they wanted for it, but I see it ended up at the Fender museum---where it should be, I suppose. I do recall in the description, the store said that the ding on the front had just happened recently when a grandchild accidentally knocked it off its stand. The composite fretboard material is interesting!

There’s a picture of Nels’ guitar in a recent thread here that shows it’s clearly a refin... if only I could find the thread again...
