Not likely. We always get forgotten, most especially with the more affordable Fender/Squier lines, and almost absolutely with any good colors.

Re: Fender Vintera line?
Seems to be the case with some - the rosewood lacquer JMs and Road Worn Stratocasters have held their value quite well since the switchover.
I don't mind Pau Ferro at all on a new design like the Meteora - when you're consciously aping the look of a mid-60s guitar that usually had dark rosewood, it looks wrong. With all the used guitars in the world, I don't see any reason to go for the new one that's going to bother me just a little when I look at it.

Yeah, sounded great! I've not seen many of the reverb videos before but I like how they played all the instruments as a band.Maggieo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 6:09 pmI hooped and hollered when they launched into "Marquee Moon!"aliendawg wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 6:16 amWow!! The IBM Jazzmaster and OTM Jaguar are a dream at that price too!
Also the shoreline gold Jazz bass. Lovely.

Re: Fender Vintera line?
Well done, Fender!
I'm considering both the IBM jm and the OTM jag. Wish they came with a hardcase since those are rather expensive from Fender, when bought separately.
On a side note, I'm really annoyed at Fender's pricing in Europe on the Marr jaguar. It's 2,6x more expensive than the Vintera jag. If you had similar pricing in the US, the Marrguar would cost a staggering $2727. Why up-price the Marrguar

I'd not seen these before but looks like Fender have released a cheaper hardcase for Jaguars/Jazzmasters:

Re: Fender Vintera line?
Simple: the ratio of people that know who the hell Johnny Marr is in Europe is way higher than in the US.

I assume you mean the signature guitar for the singer from the Cribs, right? I saw them live about 10 years ago (in America). Johnny Marr was playing guitar with them, so we’re back to where we started

I’m completely in love with the Ocean Turquoise Jaguar! If I have a spare £800 at any point I know what I’m going to do.

Pretty cool. I like the TSA molded case well enough, but it’s huge.BearBoy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 2:33 amI'd not seen these before but looks like Fender have released a cheaper hardcase for Jaguars/Jazzmasters:

Re: Fender Vintera line?
That’s a very diplomatic way of putting it! Yes, sadly Fender has made it very clear over many years that they don’t give a shit about us. They will probably have a token lefty Tele and Strat in sunburst or black. Very frustrating.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 7:51 pmNot likely. Re: Fender Vintera line?
To be fair, Squier are fast outdoing fender. Love my CV Tele & Jazz,I’ve been long tempted by a 50s cv strat, and the new 70s one looks fun. And I will pick up a JM 2nd hand at one point I’m sure.JVG wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 3:11 pmThat’s a very diplomatic way of putting it!
