Thanks. That looks like a good amp. When it's done, please report back on how it performs.

That's really cool, I like it a lot!
Telerauder...nice.Rgand wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 10:30 amI decided to make something out of a Telerauder body I had lying around. I was making it for a forum member here but got the string-through holes goofed up and had to make another one for him. This will now be a practice tool for painting and trying a few new things. I still need to drill and dowel the holes and start over on mounting a bridge. I'm calling it the Bobber.
It went from 4lbs 4oz to 3lbs 11oz. I'll loose a bit more because I'm going to rout for a bridge humbucker.
It'll end up something like this.
I really like the pickguard, bridge, and contol plate combination!
That turned out fantastic!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to doing more on it but that will probably be a few weeks yet. Here's what the Telerauder body was shaped like before I started re-shaping it.

Wow, there's been some really cool stuff on here the last week or two.
Something Mosritey is definitely on my list of future builds and I love your take on that style.
Super cool! It's like a Klein/Marauder/Swinger lovechild.
I love everything about this one! The knobs and switches are so tasteful. Are you making those necks as well?

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
Nik, that looks really fantastic. I'm a sucker for really dark blue, especially on guitars.
Using 18-8 stainless steel unthreaded spacers, tapered flat-head bolts, and narrow/jam nuts, mounted to a plywood board, I made the first of my wrench racks.
This is one is just for my SAE wrenches. I still need to figure out how I'm gonna mount my 3 flare-nut wrenches (somewhere on the bottom left, likely at an angle).
Kinda hard to see here as well as above, but hanging from the stainless steel spacers, I've got two wrenches of each size: one a standard box wrench, the other a single direction ratcheting wrench (ratcheting on top, since I use them more). I made the straight and angled strips of oak behind the wrenches, so I could grab the wrench in the back easier. I also cut the angled oak on the back at 15°, so the wrenches wouldn't put so much dead weight on the spacers and bolt.
I'm hoping to get a bit of progress on my metric wrench rack this morning after work.

That wrench rack looks really good. When you get the other made, are you going to identify them somehow so you can tell metric from SAE at a quick glance? I might be tempted to stain one a bit darker than the other or something.

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
Thanks dude! My metric set has one (or two?) more wrench than my SAE does. Basically, it'll slope the other way (longer wrenches on the left, smaller on the right) and it'll be a few inches longer too.
Also, I imagine that if I grab metric when I mean to grab standard, it'll be speaking French or German to me, and then I'll know I grabbed the other

That's a simple solution. Great idea.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 6:50 amThanks dude! My metric set has one (or two?) more wrench than my SAE does. Basically, it'll slope the other way (longer wrenches on the left, smaller on the right) and it'll be a few inches longer too.
