That what I was thinking. Normally I would pop over the border and grab one from a US address but crazy times are about.

With you on the Rubberneck. I tried replacing it with a few different units over the last year (TC Nova, Dunlop Echoplex) and although I liked how those pedals sounded, something about the combination of sonics and functionality of the Rubberneck has kept me coming back. As much as it's a space hog on my Nano+ I really can't be without it. And it's TOTALLY a steal at $119Gavanti wrote: ↑Fri Apr 17, 2020 11:52 amThat's a great deal on the Rubberneck. I've been trying to quit mine since I got a Volante, but the DOD sounds so good with that modulation. Now I have a Volante-sized hole on my board with the Rubberneck in it and the Strymon sitting on the side like a standalone echo unit.
I'm pretty tempted by both the 250 and the Boost, just to see how they sound.

I have that compressor, and it's one of the few I get along with consistently. Worth every penny at that price.Pepe Silvia wrote: ↑Fri Apr 17, 2020 5:21 amI need a compressor and at least Andy's demo makes it sound better than most compressors so I bought one. Then bought the phasers and Boost for good measure. My SHO is sometimes too hard to tame.

Of course, I've just fallen for the Looking Glass, which isn't on sale.

Their mad stuff like a Meatbox or smash box or the one which was like mxr bluebox (?). Shame the reissues got discontinued.
Apparently they just modified an old hifi sub enhancer chip, and has warnings about blown speakers.

i've been in direct contact with them, as i managed to screw up my own order and needed assistance. don't ask -Pepe Silvia wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 5:57 amHas anyone gotten a notification other than order received?
anyway they do exist and they're very helpful, they're just on a skeleton staff or something right now because of the shutdown. i'm not worried about fulfillment -

They did this around Thanksgiving and I picked up a 250 reissue that to my ear sounds the same or better as the vintage ones I've used.

The 280 compressor is a must at that price. The originals go for anywhere up to 4 times that price, but the new ones are better by not being so buzzy they're almost unusable, having a pilot light, a standard power supply input and true bypass. The original ones are pretty shit by comparison.

So this is my first compressor and was playing with it last night. I'm impressed, it doesn't really color the sound until you dime it, it is fairly transparent and does what it is supposed to do.
