Well, to be fair, the Fender representative is correct, there has been no official announcement from either Fender or Squier so far, only leaks. At that point, of course, we know that's coming, but from his point of view, he's just following the company's guidelines. He's not to blame.

I do hope the response can be interpreted as "the official announcement hasn't been made yet.", rather than there is no announcement to be made.

Maybe it's their apology to Europe for all the Mexican and American Fenders being so stupidly overpriced compared to here.

I mean, I checked for the Bullet competition Mustangs and the shipping from Anderton's to Canada was less of a % markup on a cheap Squier than they pay on literally every other Fender line, so I can't really complain.

Related side note: if you really want a sparkly Tele, Anderton's will ship it to you.

I can already tell that I'm gonna hemm and haw over this until they sell out, then spend 10 year low-key regretting not getting one of those purple Teles.

Don't look now, but listings for all the new Paranormal models just popped up on Adorama: https://www.adorama.com/l/Miscellaneous ... at-Adorama. I haven't gone all the way through to ordering one to see if you actually can or if it just puts you on a wait list but this is still very exciting. Now I just have to decide which one I want the most...

Now we know they have the goods maybe squier will release a purple sparkle J Mascis Jazzmaster like the original Fender one. Maybe thats wishful thinking

I'm going to have a really tough time resisting the sparkle telecasters. It would probably mean moving on the red sparkle bullet telecaster I got last year. That thing sounds and plays too good though.

Really great the options Squier have been putting out there recently. Decent playing guitars with custom colours all over the place.
