So is my brain finally going or is (albeit slight) wireless latency driving me insane?
Fast single note run runs or melodies, my timing just seems to fall apart when hooked up wireless. I don't notice any issues when I play acoustic.
Maybe I should upgrade to a sennheiser set?

Re: wireless latency
What Wireless system are you using?
I have an older Shure System which is cumbersome & annoying to hook up & use.. Even though it works great I haven't used it for some time for those reasons...
I have a new Gen X Vive System that is easy to use & no hassle. I'm sure there is some latency but I don't here it playing Live.. I do detect some when Recording though..
I use it for Rehearsing & Live.

If you can notice it, it's too much. And yes, that would drive me insane.papa_hotel_delta wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 10:56 amSo is my brain finally going or is (albeit slight) wireless latency driving me insane?

Re: wireless latency
Its an Xvive but I've decided it has something to do with my pedal combination/signal chain.

Re: wireless latency
Perhaps the wireless is allowing you to move too far from your speakers.
Although falling out of favor for many reasons, you could look into analog systems. Keep away from license free 2.4GHz systems unless you know what you are getting into.

Pedal combination/Signal chain might be a problem...papa_hotel_delta wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 12:43 amIts an Xvive but I've decided it has something to do with my pedal combination/signal chain.
What is your Signal Chain?
