Anyone else pretty bummed to see this thing on Reverb again, but for like $4k more than they paid for it (if I remember Paco's reasonable asking price correctly)? I mean I love going to Southside Guitars, great shop with an awesome selection, but stuff like this is so discouraging. I already couldn't afford it when it was listed here, but it was priced fairly for an incredible custom color jag in this market. Vintage prices just keep climbing to unattainable heights....,

It'll sit there for ages then sell for lower than that asking price if that's any consolation

Comparing the asking prices on Reverb and Ebay with actual sold guitars is hilarious

I hate seeing OSG guitars bought by resellers and posted immediately on reverb at eye-poping prices.

I hope nobody pays that much...

:derp:

Confused what the celebrating is for? Another offset lost to exorbitant prices of resalers?

Ehhhh, what a bummer, having the guitar relisted. I never saw the original sales post. How much was it for? Also anyone noticing the case is different from the pics here and the reverb listing. That case looked to at least be the one that was bought with the guitar back in the day, but may have have been an unoriginal vintage case to the guitar. It would appear the same is occurring here, despite the claim the case is "original". I would say "period correct". Whatever. Also notable how incredibly unimpressive the pics on the reverb listing looks compared to the pics in this post. Second recently sold IBM Jag lately.

Oh man, so this day has finally arrived...

To be honest, these guys were super nice and helpful right from the beginning. Once the ad was up on reverb it really started receiving a lot of attention and love, but also some hate, and that really caught me off guard.

I still hope the jag finds an owner that loves it, considering the guitar was completely forgotten in someone's closet and in terrible condition for 30+ years. I really took my time with it (and considered keeping it FOREVER of course), enjoyed it, recorded lots of shit with it and put it in the best shape I could with lots of love and respect, I mean it's the least you can do with a treasure like this. I also set it up for true players only, with a deep marr-esque dive in the trem you know what I mean ::)
