I get that, I have an EGC and an EGC bolt-on so I know how lively aluminium instruments can be. What's the thickness of the neck like?gila_crisis wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 3:23 amThat's my main guitar since 3 years. Gabo is a wonderful guitar builder! I never had a guitar with such sustain and resonance! You literaly feel every not you play!

I never measured the neck thickness, but it's very confortable. I suppose like a normal fender c-profile (?)X-Ray Spex wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 1:41 amI get that, I have an EGC and an EGC bolt-on so I know how lively aluminium instruments can be. What's the thickness of the neck like?

Interesting, were you able to specify neck thickness or any other specs when you ordered?gila_crisis wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 3:03 amI never measured the neck thickness, but it's very confortable. no, Nude necks are standard, I don't think you can order a different thickness. the only thing you can choose is the scale, Gibson, fender or baritone.X-Ray Spex wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 9:35 amInteresting, were you able to specify neck thickness or any other specs when you ordered?gila_crisis wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 3:03 amI never measured the neck thickness, but it's very confortable. Not a fully family photo, this is so y’all can see how the OTM color on the Vintera 60s Jag stacks up to the same color on my AO Jazzmaster. Kinda neat I thought! The AO is def more on the blue end of the spectrum and the Vintera is greener. In the right light they’re close but clearly not the same.

Much prefer the more greened out OTM on the Vintera, should be the standard for OTM honestly.tune_link wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 5:32 pmNot a fully family photo, this is so y’all can see how the OTM color on the Vintera 60s Jag stacks up to the same color on my AO Jazzmaster. It’s real weird in that in this low light in the pic you can see the difference between em, but the rest of the time they’re very similar looking. In fact the bluer one here in the pic is much greener in person. The light makes the Jag almost veer into Sherwood Green territory haha.

It's probably the way the 2 guitars are angled slightly differently, reflecting the wall colour in different measures.
