I’d like to see Squier rereleases of the Fender Pawn Shop line. Maybe add them to the Paranormal series.

I remember really GASsing for the PS '72 in surf green at the time. I'm not a fan of the way strats look but that was about as un-stratty as it's possible to get with a strat body

I know it will never happen, but a Squier Cobain Mustang would be cool, as would a 60's CV Jaguar line.
Cobain Mustang would be cool (I've got a Fender one and love it), but I think if Squier did anything Cobain-y then a Jag-stang would make more sense.

You could get 90% of the way to a Cobain Mustang by putting a JB jr in the bridge of a VM / CV Mustang. 95% if you're willing to do a bit of routing for a full sized one.

A semi hollow hardtail Jazzmaster with Jaguar pickups and a 25 inch scale in some kind of sunburst would be cool...

A Squier Offset Special would be amazing, I'm sad I missed out on a Fender equivalent years ago.

Another baritone would be cool too.

More metallic colours, sherwood green, otm, burgundy mist, firemist gold. And the Jarman Musuar.

My predictions for 2021
More FSR colors for CV and Affinity models
Fewer standard colors for offsets probably just white and sunburst. (Makes FSRs more valuable and sell out quicker)
Paranormal
-more vista series guitars reissued like the venus or the musicmaster bass
Could also see an electric xii coming back as a CV or paranormal model. Would have the 4 way rotary just to piss off the people who bought the non historically accurate Fender. Much in the same vein as the Bass VI years before.

Far more strats and teles with hard tails and humbuckers than ever before
I'm pretty bad at most things

Oh how about an affinity/bullet Telemaster?

It would be so easy for them to do this.

I'm not opposed to seeing more FSRs as the quality of Squire offsets seems to be at a pretty good level at the moment.

YES! But with Jazzmaster pickups rather than stacked humbuckers that look like Jazzmaster pickups!

My favorite thing about these threads is Fender decided their 2021 releases back in 2018.

As for my 2¢:

-More colors for Bullet Mustangs so I can do a quasi-Duo Sonic II mod. I'd even be happy with black.(oops! Forgot they already do black!)

-Also, a permanent Squier Baritone model so they quit releasing and then disappearing them like its the f'n Disney Vault or something.

I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

NOTHING.

Just give me some time to save up :w00t:
Honestly I haven't been so excited about new gear in a long time. (I'm also looking at you Squier, with your gorgeous sparkly 70's tele's)
