Rivolta Combinata 12-string, anyone?
I've actually been slightly interested in some of Rivolta's offerings- and there's a few of them that look downright amazing.
For the Combinata 12-string though:
Swing and a miss for me. I might grab a black one if they flash-sale it at a decent enough price, just to try it out. I've owned/played a couple of their (Eastwood's) Surfcaster 12s, and by many measures they are great sounding, great playing, and well-put-together guitars. I'm betting the Rivolta is at least on par with those.
At least they got the 12-saddle adjustment ability on the TOMish bridge so it'll intonate properly. (A major pet peeve of mine is missing this on a modern 12-string)

I’d say that’s pretty hot!
Nice color combo.

Definitely more to my taste in black:
Though something is definitely bugging me about the headstock logo- there's a lot of empty real estate up north there.

My Combinata XVII is amazingly well made and playable. The P-90s are Lollar-level.

Ngl, I wish they mirrored some of the body's curves for the headstock but regardless, these all look incredible!

I dig it, but I am not keen on the headstock. It looks like a bloated Schechter headstock.

I grew up playing and watching tons of hockey, so I always loved that headstock 100%.mbe wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 1:58 pmNo worse than the Fender hockey stickBoringPostcards wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 5:08 amI dig it, but I am not keen on the headstock. It looks like a bloated Schechter headstock.

Re: Rivolta Combinata 12-string, anyone?
Hmmmm... Black Friday....
30% off.... (If I lump a Sidejack DLX 12 in with it to meet the $1500 threshold)
$840 for the Rivolta + $419 for the Sidejack
Sell the sidejack (after a rigorous tryout, of course) for $450 on the 'verb...
Mmmmm... damn. I thought I had enough 12-strings.
**EDIT** Fecking small-print: apparently, the 30% off deal doesn't apply for items on their site marked as "NEW" offerings. False alarm, I guess.
