Re: Fake Pedal, But Man It Would Be Cool
As for the RE20 modulation, it would be cool if they sorted that out if they made this thing. They always seem to put a little extra engineering/programming into the Waza line. But I wouldn't mind a lack of modulation in it either.
It would be really cool if that new one was an FZ-2. I've never gotten to actually play an FZ-2 before, but I like what I've heard from demos. Even a GE-2 Waza would be pretty sweet.

Just echoing the sentiment that I too would probably pick one of these up if they made them.

Looks pretty neat to me. Maybe this'll become one of those "popular demand" items that starts as a fan idea and ends up getting made, who knows?
This is an excellent rectangle

So Boss Europe posted some transistors on their instagram page. Speculation is maybe they are going to do a FZ-3w which would be really cool. I think the FZ-3 is way underrated.

That would be awesome. I just think about how the Waza line frequently has 2 modes. I wonder if they would do an FZ-3 with an FZ-2 mode also...Jazzmastervsjaguar wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 6:23 amSo Boss Europe posted some transistors on their instagram page. An FZ-2/3 combo would be amazing.

Re: Fake Pedal, But Man It Would Be Cool
I had the same issue. Cool pedal, but damn that was annoying and I couldn't get rid of that noise.peterherman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 4:50 amI had the double-sized one for a while. I remember there being a weird clock noise that would happen whether engaged or not. There was a simple fix for it (buffer after? buffer before? something with gain placement?) that I don't remember. Good pedal otherwise, and yes I'd be very tempted by this format.
I had both of those too, and I never really got into them. Maybe it had to do with my POS Mac, but I could not figure out how to properly edit the NUX settings and that Boonar thing never clicked for whatever reason.Tafarel wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 7:57 amI have the NUX and indeed, it does do most of the things the RE-20 does. It's amazingly well done and the price can't be beat.
There is also the Dawner Prince Boonar, which is brilliant (I have no affiliation with this seller -- random Reverb link): https://reverb.com/item/24723080-dawner ... -drum-echo
The first one I got had some wiring that was exposed to the case. The second one I got to replace it is solid.
If Boss ever made a pedal like that it would sell like hotcakes. Then again, how well are hotcakes selling these days? It would sell like some limited instagram boutique pedal collaboration!
