I got this off of Reverb because I read good stuff about them. They also have a volute which I like. Mostly I wanted a Les Paul that was Poly with the book headstock and volute which this all had. The previous owner put a Duncan 59 in the neck and a Duncan Distortion in the bridge. When it arrived, the neck pickup wasn't working right. The audio was too quiet. I figured out the switch was going bad. I had a long switch in my parts bucket, but then I also noticed a small crack by the nut. I was going to return it but Reverb offered me money to repair it. I am assuming it is a finish crack since it doesn't follow wood grain. I local luthier said they could fix it for me. With that sorted out, I got to work on it. I put in the new toggle. It was a kind of weird toggle. Normally the ground lug is on the back and the toggle pieces and output are on the other side. This one was different so I had to mess around with it to wire it up. Not a huge deal, just unexpected. The screws in the back were stripped out so I used the toothpick and wood glue trick to tighten them back down. Two of the four plate screws were missing, so I used some Nickle ones until the gold replacements come in. I also had to order a metric deep nut for the toggle since the new one wasn't long enough for the flat nut to screw down without taking the poker chip plate off. I ordered cream plastics. Hopefully those parts end up fitting. Otherwise I will have to order a custom guard. I also ordered amber bell knobs for it. I think it will look killer. Here are pictures.

10/10 would rock. Interested to see cream plastic and amber knobs - I like it as-is.

Enjoy that Greco, sir! Just out of curiosity, how heavy is it? I mean, is it as heavy as old LP customs can be?

Pretty heavy compared to a fender. Not terrible though. Feels a lot like my 70s Gibson Les Paul.

Used to have one a lot like it. Heavy as heck, but I loved it.
Save up for your dream guitar.

I have an irrational love of LP customs, but I know I'd get no use out of one since they're so damn heavy! This one looks great though.

Thanks! I am still waiting on the new toggle chip, amber knobs, and pickguard to get it back together. Can't wait to see it with cream accents. I don't mind all black but it kinda hides details.

Argh.. knobs came in but the pots ended up being metric so they don't fit. Ordered a different set.... Long switchcraft toggle came in... the threaded part is too short.... Ordered a short toggle which oddly has a longer threaded portion. Only thing that fit that came today are the gold straplocks... LOL Back to waiting on the mail I guess.....

Getting closer! The "Les Paul" long toggle didn't have a long enough thread area so I ordered a short toggle. Got the new nobs and guard on.

I am digging it!
