I'm sorry but all I can think of when I see this is that big Sean song. The one that basically repeats the word ass for the chorus.PorkyPrimeCut wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 6:28 am
A match made in....er...heaven? All you need is something awful to have happened to the fretboard
offset guitars resident bass player.

Not a valuable guitar, or even a real Ric, but holy shit the “upgraded” tuners.

This one isn't close to being as bad as the others but a Hole in the J of Jaguar... WHY?

Re: "Why did you do it? Why did you do this thing to me?"
The description of the one above kills me:
This guitar has been in storage for over 30 years. I put new strings on it and cleaned it up some. It will need to be restored to make a great guitar. Needs painting. Looks like varnish has been applied to it--Over 30 years ago. A friend had it in storage and does not play. Giving it a REALLY great price to sell for Christmas money. This one looks like it will sell for $8000-$9000 if restored properly. I simply do not have the time to do it. Can send you all the picture you want. Great action on the neck. I hooked up to My system and the pick ups work and has an old 1963 sound to it. A great Fender.
$8,000-$9,000??? Also it's strung up but are there and saddles on the bridge?

I'm not even sure what that bridge is. If you zoom in it looks like there's a weirdly curved plate with grooves cut it. Then next to that, just behind the bridge, what going on there. Are there holes drilled? Odd.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Given that the bridge saddles have been replaced with that curved, raised metal plate it kinda looks like some satanic slide conversion that required some sort of contraption on the headstock?
There are extra grooves in the saddle so it might have been a 10-string but if so they're odd tuner holes

Jack Daniel's'd and weird kahler'd Ibanez semi-hollow.
https://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de ... 801841.htm
I actually find the vibrato interesting, but the Jack Daniels branding is awful on every level.
I'd buy it and remove the branding but keep the trem if this was priced cheaper than new, like a used guitar, you know ?

"Since '64 Mustangs are like $4000-$6000 now there is some value in these parts"
That value is 'about $4' but go off brooo. Classic example of 'completely delusional buy it nows feeding back into the asking price of something that is basically fit for the woodchipper. Pretty sure you can get a 60s mustang body that *hasn't* been fucked with for that price
