I am speaking mostly about anything audible. Apologies if this has been covered before. I’ve got an empty tone ring cab to fill.

The D140f has a beefed up suspension and doping, allowing it to handle bass frequencies better. It does lose a little off the high end, but only a little. I had both and if you did any sort of drop-tuning or played baritone a D-140f is the way to go. Regular guitar use might like the D130f better.
Either one sounds great in a tone-ring cab, two D140fs in a Dual Showman cabinet is simply glorious.

Ah! Thank you so much for that. I have a couple 215 cabs that have D130fs but I have never heard the D140f. I’m gonna go for it. Thanks!!Guy Guyatone wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 1:48 pmThe D140f has a beefed up suspension and doping, allowing it to handle bass frequencies better.
