Is the finish on my 1966 Dakota Red Mustang Poly or Nitro? Thanks!

If it's original, it should be nitro. Poly finishes didn't start till 69 if I'm not mistaken.

The switch from nitro to poly on Mustangs conveniently occurred with the switch from R/W/B slabs to contoured compstangs in '69 as far as I'm aware.

A '66 is nitro, guaranteed.
