Not my style of music, but that sounds really awesome. There are a couple of 8-string players who really intrigue me with how they play.

I got this Epiphone 2x10 cabinet and loaded it with some Jensen’s
pulled from a Hammond tone cabinet, I really like 2x10.
I’m making a partial plexiglass back panel, I have to experiment
how much to close off.

I love how this looks roughy the size of a big-box Marshall head. Like you could have the shortest half stack around hahaha.

Chassis and a head cab just waiting for the final parts. This one's gonna be a sort of half-power Sunn Model T thing. 2x6550 in a small package.

I've had my CV JM since June/July and I love it, but I finally decided on upgrading the pickups. The pickups in it aren't bad to my ears, but it's not exactly what I've always wanted for a JM sound. I got a little money for Xmas and in the last 24 hours have ordered a set of Novak's (JM-V for the neck, JM-FAT for the bridge), a 9.5" radius Staytrem bridge, some Stew-Mac neck shims (the 3-pack), and some 3-way Mustang switches.

I've got a custom black anodized guard on order from our own Gdayj for a month or so (quick work and great communication, just a bit of time shipping from Australia to the US).

A few months ago, I bought a set of orange pickup covers from one of our own, via Shapeways, Shepherd And Crow.

When it's done and properly set-up, it'll be a white JM, with a black anodized guard, and orange pickup covers.

Gonna wire it up like this. Rhythm circuit will work for both pickups, and both the lead and rhythm circuit will have their own 3-way slider switch.

I'm debating whether to get some black pickguard screws for it. Most of the time I see black guards, the guitars still have chrome/nickel screws and it looks strange to me. But I haven't decided if I will get some black ones or not.

finally got around to adding another pickup to this guitar.
had a robert smith pickup with a broken case so rehoused it into a p90 cover and routed the body. it sounds pretty cool.
not in love with the all black switches, been toying with other options.

Purfect Nik! I like the 'much-too-close-together' looks, keeps the right amount of wonk in the design.

I spent the whole of last week down in Southern France prepping blanks from my dad's stash. Necks mostly, but I found the time to cut those two:

...matching Bobkat-ish bodies. Me and an old friend are thinking of reforming our old band, and what's cheesier than matching guitars?

Flatwork for a small batch of split coil pickups. ;)
