I think they already teased this one a year or two ago?

That's awesome! I like the rotary idea, but where is it?

About time! I guess the rotary pickup selector is the tone control?

That's kinda weird. Especially when the lower horn is completely unused and empty...

Re: Ben Gibbard signature Mustang
Yes. Personally, I don't get on with toggles on the lower horn on Mustang guitars - I just hit it by accident too much when strumming, but a rotary there would solve the problem and I think look cool, if the conventional slider switches weren't wanted. I presume Mr Gibbard doesn't use his tone control then...?Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 1:39 amThat's kinda weird. Especially when the lower horn is completely unused and empty...
I put a rotary there on my Mustang bass (so I could blend the pickups, not cos I knocked it on that one):
The chambered body is interesting - how heavy would a little Mustang be without one? I wonder if there is an audible difference?
All the cheeses....

Re: Ben Gibbard signature Mustang
I never thought about it replacing the tone control. Wow, I'm stupid today
