You can rehouse them if that becomes an issue. I’ve been thinking about doing that with my VD400 because it’s the best sounding analog delay I’ve come across so far - absolutely gorgeous when you set it right to the edge of self oscillation.

I've used the VB-2 clone on a live board for the last 6/7 years and it's yet to die on me. I use the momentary setting to so it gets a good pounding most gigs. 100% agree with the VD400 too. Excellent delay. YMMV but I think the plastic aspect is misleading, they're actually pretty tough,

I have a burgeoning collection - mostly second-hand (except the one I bought in a closing down sale) - most under £20, as far as I can remember.

In Europe, they partnered with Thomann for 24 euro pedal deals. That's quite a steal, but I'm the sort of guy that rather saves up and go for a MXR. But I do have some TC stuff (now owned by Behringer).
Take note, that SF300 fuzz is now in stock at Thomann.

I have that preamp booster too and it's excellent! Obviously not as flashy as some of their other offerings but a really nice boost and a really usable EQUlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 9:17 amI have a burgeoning collection - mostly second-hand (except the one I bought in a closing down sale) - most under £20, as far as I can remember.

Well fuck, I would have liked a $19 tremolo pedal a few months ago.

Yes, their preamp pedal was one of the nicest surprises of all. Only cost me a tenner from Cash Converters too!bubba899 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 6:39 amI have that preamp booster too and it's excellent! Re: $20 Dollar Behringer Pedals for Everyone
The Behringer's. I own a few of those, most were given to me for free... There seams to be a lot of "love and hate" about these. They are like unlove stepchilds in a way...
But bottomline, they are great for what they do. Espcially considering what they cost. Yes, most are knock off's of well established brands, but on the other hand, they are in range of everyone's pocket. (No, I'm not gonna start on the "old day's" when you really had to save money, buy a pedal and concluded it wasn't for you and got stuck with something you really didn't like...)
JHS did good showing them in his show and explaining and comparing them.
I like the fact that on the used marked they are dirt cheap as no one seams to want them, so you can experiment, find out what you like.
But, honnestly...given the "flood" of cheap pedals from China (via Amazon, Ali-express, etc...), I think Behringer's days of being the only ones to sell cheap pedals are over...
They already tried it with "TC electronics" - "Smörgasbord" (rehousing their pedals with a slight twist in a metal casing with TC branding)
but I doubt that in todays market this trick can be repeated. But Mr. Behringer seams like a smart guy, so I guess it won't hurt his company giving it another try... And let's not forget that Behringer already own's, makes and sells a lot of FX pedal componants to a lot of pedal makers, including their competition.
