Who has a three pup JM?

Post by Nord » Mon Apr 14, 2008 1:56 pm

I'm sure somebody here has done a mod like this—would a third standard JM pickup fit in between the standard JM pickups? It looks like it would in the dressing room... If you have pics, please post...  ::)

Forum member Los Mel, he used to have an outline on how he did it on his page but I couldn't find it. Maybee he'll chime in.

Thanks! Do you happen to know if he wired the rhythm circuit to control/blend the third or if he used a five-way Strat switch? Not sure if that's what I'm seeing on the photo ;)

Here's mine with a Strat pup in the middle.  I went with this so I wouldn't have to make a big hole!  I just have an on/off mini toggle switch to use it with the standard switching...

One more guitar, then I'll practice!

The one on "Meshugga Beach Party" is actually the same as the one in in the Los Mel tones Pic. "Meshugga Beach party" is also a recording of Mel Waldorf.(a superb instro surf version of well known Jewish folk music, 100% wet reverb guaranteed!!!)
He also has a three PU Jaguar. Al can be seen at his site + info regarding them.
