23 frets - clearly better than a Jaguar or Jazzmaster. ...though not quite as awesome as a Jackson.

Yep, definitely a Serviceman Jaguar.
I'd LMAO if those were a pair of PAFs or hell, even T-Top humbuckers. I'm not willing to drive three hours and find out.

I don't even think they're drawn on, it looks like they're cut out of the actual fretboard

It's neat enough as a travel guitar but it sort of defeats the purpose that it still comes in a full size Strat case.

With that bridge so high and close to the trems tailpiece on that Framus wouldn't that make the strings pitch up when bending down? Also the breakangle being on the back of the bridge instead of the rollersaddles looks like a not too well thought out plan.
edit; the breakangle problem wouldn't have happened if the bridge was the right way around, seeing it was specifically designed to make room for the strings.

I've been curious about late-50's Carvins lately, so I picked up a neck on eBay when the seller accepted my offer.
What could be hiding under those circles?
why, three different wood screws, of course!
...and if anyone has a junky Bigsby or an old Carvin AP-6 (or other) pickup laying around let me know!

All of the ideas here aren't bad. ...plus the neck looks like oak, so maybe this started out as a kitchen table?

"let me strip the finish of this Mexican Fender, swap the electronics and call it a custom shop guitar"

"Selling my rare beloved and customized mim CS strat. It was once a limited edition gold sparkle but I removed the finish to make it breath and increase resonance (and looks a little less obnoxious). It has been refinished with a penetrating finishing oil to bring out the beauty of the natural grain. I swapped the bridge pickup for a porter S90 single coil style p90 that can sound soft and very fat and nasty [...]"
