Eclipse and Enter the Mirage by the Sonic Dawn
Glasvegas by Glasvegas
Love Drips and Gathers by Piroshka
Maximum Sorrow by Desperate Journalist
BBC Sessions 1982-1984 by Sisters of Mercy
No Gods No Master by Garbage
A Woman A Man Walked by by PJ Harvey and John Parish
Not a bad month really, considering 80% of everything else I bought this year was PJ Harvey reissues.

Bill Withers Greatest Hits Mofi press is back in stock. Cost me £40 to send to a forwarding address. Probably about £60 by the time it gets to me. Hope it sounds as good as everyone says.

Popped out to pick up a pre-order today. Lo & behold, what should be out today…!
I remember sharing a tape of this when we were kids. Haven’t thought about this album for 25 years or so. Excited to see if it still rocks

Re: recent vinyl acquisitions the thread
It’s been a rather acquisitive few months with a lot of pre-orders coming in and some stuff I’ve wanted for a while grabbed off of discogs. Of note:
All three Mannequin Pussy albums and their recentish EP.
Maggot by Dazey and the Scouts on pink/white/blue split.
Lucky Me by Phoebe Green, the blood records release with the lenticular sleeve.
Sorry Mom by Destroy Boys as they had a repress for sale when I saw them in Philly.
Blackstar. Better late than never.

Beak are amazing. Got to see them cover for Low at Sea Power's Krankenhaus in the Lake District in August. What a delight. Also of note, the first vinyl release of the Dead Texan, an offshoot of Stars Of The Lid. Transformative. One of my top 3 SOTL releases.

The first 3 Akina Nakamori LPs, as well as a Taeko Ohnuki rekkid I really like. Missed a couple more Taeko Ohnuki albums in the auctions, though.
This is an excellent rectangle

Re: recent vinyl acquisitions the thread
Been trying not to buy any vinyl recently. The discogs want list is growing but it’s helping me be more selective on new releases. Getting tired of selling stuff I’ve barely played 12 months later.
I did buy the new Press Club album though. Support angry bands, I suppose. They’re in London next month, too

My end of year pile last year. I will have to take 3 or 4 pics for this year as I bought a lot more than previous years.
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.
