Any Offseters on the ReRanch board?

Post by Nord » Mon May 05, 2008 2:11 pm

I registered a few weeks ago at ReRanch and my account is still not activated. Does anybody know how long this typically takes over there?

It didn't take that long for mine to get activated??

Are you using a "hotmail/yahoomail" free-mail type of account?  Some forums won't let you register unless it's what they consider a "real" e-mail address from an internet provider's site (verizon, comcast, etc)

nah, I don't use any of those domains. Wonder why they don't activate the accounts.

Takes a while, as they've been on the wrong end of spam-bots, and approve the accounts manually.  Mix that with the owner being a gigging musician, and it can take a while to get approved, or there's a chance you'll get deleted with the thousands of phonies that come through.

I would email joeglow, hounddog, or SGLou over there - they're also admins and get you ok'd lickity-split...it's a great board, no pretense or flaming...well, MOST of the time! ;D

If you've already checked your spam.........I had the same problem, so I just sent an email to Bill (the owner) and he fixed it that day :P

Ya, I hang out over there occasionally...I would take Vegasrock up on his offer if I were you.  It's a great community for the partscaster crowd for sure.
