As it says in the title -- seeking a small practice amp that also has a series effects loop. Preferably a solid state or modeling amp.
I use a head and cab in the practice room and live but it's far too loud to use at home. I've been using (and loving) my Yamaha THR10II in my apartment but because of the lack of effects loop I can't ever use my board how I would use it normally without having to seriously dismantle it and/or add gain pedals. I'd ideally love to be able to have something small that I could also do that with so I can work out parts that sound accurate to what I'd get in the room.
So far I've seen the 100 watt Boss Katana amps and the Blackstar HT5, but the former is way bigger than I'd want and I'd prefer not to bother with tubes because even at 5 watts that's loud for a house.
Any ideas?
