Thanks a lot...

Pretty good compilation, though they left out some ringers, like The Connells, Arms Akimbo (their song “The Voice” is a classic), The Reivers, Miracle Legion, Love Tractor, Guadalcanal Diary, The Individuals, etc.
Thanks a lot...

Joke is there was more than The Polyphonic Spree...they're just out of shot to the right.
Thanks. Didn't make it that far down on the bandcamp track list.hansbrinker wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 7:10 amThe band on the cover is... wait for it... One Plus Two.sa1126 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 5:13 amhansbrinker wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 5:46 pm

My question would be were you using the neck pickup or bridge, or both? You have so many tonal options on a 620, it seems like you should be able to dial something in that's pretty nice/close to your JM. I happen to think Ric Hi-Gains are some of the best pickups around, and I've never cared much for toasters. Your mileage may vary of course, but I've always been disappointed when checking out the toasters.OffYourFace wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2023 5:04 pmPickup question...
So I was comparing my friend's 2018 620 to my tele and JM thru my '67 bassman head today (clean thru the normal ch). I wasn't into it as much. I liked it better through my Roland Cube 60![]()
The High Gain pickups (adjustable magnets) sounded great on the plain strings but the wound strings reminded me of Filtertrons where the notes aren't as defined as say on a tele. Would I like some proper toasters better?
I could see the HGs working better with some overdrive and with a Vox AC15/30
How far away do you have your pickups from the strings on the jazzmaster?
Ahhhh ok, thanks!. I think I have them too close to the strings on the 620. I can't them them much lower, there's a layer of foam and the screws feel like they're as tight as they're going to get.
