Ah, yes, the proverbial dark star of Jazzmasters.
Fullerplast, can you sneak that one onto the next spaceship outta here? I think the hipster aliens might dig it!

Re: Space...the final frontier......
It's just all wrong...
The third solar system is 3 parsecs off.
The 2nd nova should be 76.5% full, not 77.3...
Adjustments for perihelion were obviously not made.
And, (what gets my goat the most) Bogus 3 should be 22% eclipsed by Bogus 4.
What were they thinking?
I could go on... ...

Dare you mock Hawkwind?Maggieo wrote: Duuuuuuude, that's the perfect guitar to play while I ride around in my be-mural-ed conversion van and listen to Hawkwind!
Personally, I always feel that Molly Hatchet is a more appropriate choice when it comes to conversion vans...

There are billions and billions of stars on the surface of this Jazzmaster, each one not unlike our own star, the sun. Come with me as we journey through them in our ship of the imagination...

Molly Hatchet postdated the peak of Conversion Vans ('77-79), although that whole style of art found its way onto scores of spare tire covers well into the 80s. BOA more likely, Grand Funk Railroad absolutely.
I never got that whole van thing.

By Robert Calvert's grave, nay! I mock not the mighty Raptorluftband! (OK, maybe a little.)Ursoluno wrote:Dare you mock Hawkwind?Maggieo wrote: Duuuuuuude, that's the perfect guitar to play while I ride around in my be-mural-ed conversion van and listen to Hawkwind!

Yeah, you're right about the conversion van bands, but they wouldn't go for the spacey JM!

They'd go for it if it had an airbrushed chick in a leather bikini swinging a battle axe, though...

I am surprised Fullerplast isn't all over that guitar.
