yeah, i felt like the neck and body were cheap.  i was actually talking about the pickups.  i ended up paying pretty dearly for the pair.  but i felf like it might be a while before i had a chance to get a matching bridge and neck pair.

I gotta say, I was about to bid, and then saw how high the price was going.....I though it was on the high side...the last set someone from the forum scored (matching set - black bottoms) was around the $400 mark for the pair.

but still, the important thing is you have the pups, and when you get the Jazzmaster all put together and it sounds like god, the extra money spent won't matter....  :)

we've all overpaid at times...it happens....if you're happy, that's all that counts  8)

Yeah I also got outbid on this at the last second, but no hard feelings of course.  I bid the most I wanted to pay, and you paid so more, so you shouldn't feel bad.  It definitely got above what I wanted to pay and that's fine.  It's not your fault if someone was willing to pay what you ended up paying but did not bid that amount.

And it's funny, but I needed the neck and tuners for my LPB 59.  It's a great looking color for a gold guard, just hard to capture in pics.
