What he may have failed to make clear is that the Fiesta Red POS you got was supposed to be a dead-on replica of a classic '60s Strat that was later spray-painted red by a kid in a garage somewhere.

Was it the sunburst one? The black one was gone by the time I got there, and they had just taken the '65 pickguard and pickups off the sunburst one and put the stock duncans and shit white pickguard on the sunburst. I played the sunburst at the shop through a silverface super reverb and it sounded pretty good at bedroom levels but when I brought it home, I realized it left much to be desired. There were too many distractions in the tiny store for me to actually get a good listen. It was a busy saturday afternoon. So yeah, not that good.

I played the black one before. I just got home, and I played the new one today. Its sold but still there. Had to move the "sold" tag to play it. Its really something......    I played it through a tweed super.
