Not my favourite at all, but with a name like that, I think it deserves an honourable mention:

About one million already posted great one-pickup'd guitars but here's one that isn't covered yet - The Hagström "Jimmy" by Jimmy D'Aquisto
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

That's because it is, it's an SC-1, I think they all had them. I loved Hope Against Hope when it came out.Skiptracer1981 wrote:looks like one of those G&Ls with the mustang-ish shape.Mr. Peabody wrote:
I always wonder what a JM would be like made by G&L, probably a touch uglier, with no issues and a bridge somewhere between stock and a mastery.

I love how Gretsch has made so many guitars that only have one pickup, but that they used both bridge and neck positions on different models.

I've played those and they're simply amazing. From top to bottom awesome. Very well built and have an excellent acoustic tone. I actually haven't played one plugged in though, so I can't testify to it's electric side.the older brother wrote:Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin in cognacburst:
