That's because it is, it's an SC-1, I think they all had them. I loved Hope Against Hope when it came out.

I always wonder what a JM would be like made by G&L, probably a touch uglier, with no issues and a bridge somewhere between stock and a mastery.

I love how Gretsch has made so many guitars that only have one pickup, but that they used both bridge and neck positions on different models.

I've played those and they're simply amazing. From top to bottom awesome. Very well built and have an excellent acoustic tone. I actually haven't played one plugged in though, so I can't testify to it's electric side.
