This combo is definitely my second favourite after sunburst & tortoise-shell. The older & yellower the better too.
I'd been looking at buying Mustang parts to make a competition orange guitar. Might have to consider oly white aswell. Decisions, decisions!!

Awful refin...
But OW / TS is just the thing.
As for the price asked for this one, it's so ridiculous it makes me want to die (laughing).

I think it's a good refin - sure, it was shot right over the SB, but it's an old refin by the looks of it, so it has a lot of character.

I'm waiting for this one to leave and for them to show us a black one I missed a few months ago...

See, the seller is huge... And many people working at this shop seem to answer the enquiries sent by potential buyers...
So that, after 2 weeks (sic) without answer, I decided to send another mail...
To my surprise I had 2 answers, given by 2 different clerks. Guess what : the second quote was $600 higher than the first I received...
Great job !
These guys read the book "How can I lose a customer in 10 lessons".

Sorry to tell you I was offered this VI at $4500 a month or 6 weeks ago... (no kidding)... And it was their highest quote !eggwheat wrote: I was offered this bass at $5000 they've had it ages..Nice but sadly refiished and damaged decal which I hate on a VI.
Do they sell at different prices to different customers ?
You must have received an answer given by a third clerk
